Why I started 3 Strands
The pursuit of my passion came about, following my decision to become a stay at home mom. With no corporate lines to stay inside I felt inspired to crochet til my heart was content. Since setting up shop six years ago, a lot has changed at 3 Strands with the introduction of upcycled photography props and my newest adventure, Home which incorporates rustic, chic quilt designs into the modern farmhouse. It brings me joy to be a part of making someone's style speak, and to help make the comfort that turns a house into a home.
Family time, all forms of crafting and creating, quilts, reading, naps, jogging, socializing, church activities, history, antiques and shopping

I am often asked how 3 Strands got it's name. To be brief, this verse was the theme for our wedding. It was my husband's idea to use 3 Strands as an option, when we first developed the vision for this business. I loved the idea, and so 3 Strands was born.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
